After looking over the information on the product Differin I can not see that it is much different from what all the others claim. Most of the side effects are the same. Dryness, scaling, sun sensitivity, burning, irritation, etc.. I think the thing that put Differin ahead of the other products is the fact that the differin product is more clear about what is going on during an acne breakout. The do not push some miracle herb or berry. They do not claim that every thing is going to be better in a matter of days. There was no high pressure sales pitch. I did find the package insert difficult to read. I think they need to simplify the language on the insert. Not every one is a chemist and can understand all the medical jargon. The instruction say that the patients using the product should read the package inserts. Well, unless that teenager is a collage honers student they are not going to be able to understand it either. I do feel safer with this product because you have to see a doctor and get a prescription for it. So it is regulated by the FDA. Which means what they state ahas to be close to the truth.

At one time in my life I worried because I felt I would not be leaving any kind of mark on the world when I am gone. I felt I would leave no legacy. No one would know I was even here. The thought created allot of anxiety for me. I have always been close to my family. My present family, My family of generations past and my future family not yet arrived to this existence, have always been the most important part of me. I suppose that is the reason that my family history has always been such an interest and important tome. I have always felt the family is first and for most in my life. For this reason I provide the day care for my grandchildren. Once the first grandchild arrived I retired from work to provide the day care. It is not easy financially but it is the most important. I believe children are best raised by their families. If mom and dad must work, the children need another stable family member to care for and teach them. I have always had these feelings, even before I had children myself. I find it very faith confirming when I received a sort of prophecy years ago about my life. It stated that heavenly fathers purpose for me in this life was of wife and mother. I would be the nurturer of my generations and the keeper of the family and its history. It stated that I was not intended for greatness by today’s standards but will be blessed to my family and future generations. I had never spoken of my feelings of leaving behind no legacy to any one. I find it comforting that heavenly father had already layd out a plan for me and that the things I cherish so are just the things he had planed for me. I discovered my legacy is my family.

I have tries several Veterinarians in our city but I am sure I have finally found the best. I have been to vets here that didn’t seem like they really liked animals. Some that seemed like they didn’t really like people for that matter. I can understand that though,b y the way some people treat their animals. I have been to some that put off treatment on a let just wait and see guise, only to have me bring them back in later that night when things got worse. Oh ya, and at emergency rates because it was after office hours. Now I don’t mind paying an emergency rate for my dog when he is in an emergency and must be seen after hours. But It really burns my nickers when I had just had him in the office that afternoon and was told we are going to wait to see about treatment. After all in my business if I screw up I don’t charge to fix it and I certainly don’t charge double to fix my screw up after hours. I have found the best vet though. Dupont veterinarian hospital. They are very attentive to their patients and their patients owners. The listen when I tell them whats up and are through in their treatment. They seem to be very good at reading the owners ability to followup care for their pets and trust in my intuition about my dog. Their prices are competitive and they have never pushed any unnecessary treatments. When I call with a concern they always find the answer to my question and if they think there is a concern bring us right in. I JUST LOVE THEM.

I have been trying to think of a way to generate an income from home. I am a very creative person so you think it would be easy. Well, not so. I am artistically creative. I am what I call a media moron. I can do many things on the computer. Research, spredsheets and communications are some. But when it comes to using e bay forget it. I have tried. I have had an Idea however. I seem to be the family party planner. If we are having a function that includes food, I plan the food, prepare the food and implement the set up and distribution of it. I have done funerals, sports functions, picnics, birthdays, weddings and many other functions. I think I might try my hand at minor party planning. Not the big venues. Small local affairs. Things like family picnics and back yard weddings. I have the knowledge, the resources, and the equipment. Why not? I know there have often been times when someone has not wanted the trouble of putting together something as little as a small family picnic. I get roped into doing it any way. So why not try to make a living at it. I do have some exclusive recipes that I have come up with that people have been trying to get out of me. I think I will reserve them for my business idea. Sorry every on, The secret to the chicken salad stays with me.

For many years I traveled with my children. I would drive ten to twelve hours across several states fore to five times a year. I would go home to visit my family. I never had an issue with my children when it come to traveling. No I never has a television my car. My kids were not hooked up to cd players. I would take some color books, snacks and drinks. The ones that were able to read in the car would bring books. We had various activities we would do as we road along. We would talk about things they felt were issues. We had a wide verity of road games we would play from bingo to I see something you don’t see. We would sing. When we hit the tricky mountain passes they new it was time for a nap. When we went through dangerous mountain areas the kid new that they were required to remain quiet. So the usually went to sleep. a ten hour trip was usually good for two naps for my kids. In the summer we would stop and picnic for meals. In the winter we would stop at a restaurant. We had very few disagreements, and very few are we there yets. But allot of I gotta pees. I learned more about my kids in the car than I think any other place. I wish more people would throw the televisions out of there cars and talk to their kids, they would be amazed at what they would learn.

Tomorrow is the day. My youngest is moving with her son into a place of her own. I am so excited for her. She is going to have some tight times I am sure but she will get through it. I know she is going to enjoy her independence. Every young women looks forward feathering her own nest. Grandma and Grandpa already have plans for them. There are toys that every baby needs that we don’t have yet because they are too noisy. We have plant to get him one of those popper ball toys that you roll across the floor. Every little guy needs drums and Morocco’s. Oh, and of course a horn. I think he probably needs one of those little portable radios too. You know the one. The one that has the microphone attached. Ya, that’s just what he needs. The only problem is if Grandma and Grandpa take care of those needs what are the aunts and uncles going to get him. Oh ya there is play dough and finger paints out there that every little boy needs. And how about a puppy or a kitty. For his momma we have plans too. All of her junk we have acculminated over the years. As with he first too, we give them two months to get all of there stuff. After two months we load it all in the van and put it in front of their door when they are not home. You have to do it when they are not home that way you don’t have to listen to their excuses as to why they can’t store it. You never have to take anything back with you this way.

Yea!!! My new scriptures arrive today. Opening a new set of scriptures is a wonderful feeling. It is great to finally have a set with all the pages. Over the years my old ones have been used and abused. They went through three children from birth to teens. They have had crayons, colored markers, highlighters and ink pens on there pages. Each of my children have made their mark in these books. I have highlighted certain scripture that I wanted to ponder. There are sticky finger prints and torn pages. I will retire this old book but I will not be discarding it. It was my children’s childhood stuck between those sticky pages. I am fortunate enough to be the keeper of scriptures of several of my ancestors. They are old, ragged and fragile. But they are the most beautiful books I poses. as I open these books my heart glows. To read the notes in the margins written by my family ghosts makes me feel connected to them. It is special to me to see what particular scriptures they treasured. These books are well used. I intend for my new scriptures to be as well used as the ones I already posses from my ancestors. I am putting my own notes in the margins, so some day someone will read my inspiration for life.

What a stressful day. I could not seem to accomplish any of my goals today. All I got donewas dinner ready to cook and six batches made and into the freezer. I just can not seem to get any kick into my salsa. It has a wonderful flavor. It just has no heat. Every one loves it but would like it hotter. You would think that fifteen jalapenos and two pueblo peppers in thirty cups of tomatoes would be hot, but it isn’t at all. I don’t like very hot salsa. This is not hot at all. The lasagna for dinner turned out great they all loved it. I wanted to get up stairs and work in my room but time did not allow me too. By the time I got done with the salsa my feet and legs really hurt. I tried to lay down and elevate them but that did not help. After I cooked dinner I tried to get my feet up again. Still no help. I think I am starting into one of my pain episodes. I can not get to cleaning my kitchen up tonight. I have dropped plenty of hints like who’s gonna help momma with the kitchen tonight but no luck. It is just going to have to Wait until tomorrow.

Dogs in my family are not only special but very important. You see myself and two of my children don’t just want dogs we truly need a dog. I have a Cocker Spaniel. He is the most perfect dog. Such a sweaty. I also have three Grandpuppys. and a Grandkitty. Duke is a mix of Boxer, Golden, Lab and pit. He is the most gentle, sweetest, frightened baby out of them all. His little brother Rodeo is a mix also. chiwawa, terrier and pekingese. I think there is some cute little bat in there though he looks like one. Diesel is the monster. Not because of his knotty behavior but because of his build. He is an American Bulldog. He wants to be a lap dog. One hundred and twenty five pounds on your lap. He is incredibly smart. If you don’t have something for him to do he is going to find something to do. You most likely won’t like it. He can unlatch both latches on his cage to get out. If he is really board he knows how to shake his cage while in it, until the corners fall away. He opens cabinets and is so tall can reach everything to the back of the cabinet. He loves pairs. It is the funniest thing to look out the door and see a dog hanging from a branch of the pair tree, about three feet off of the ground. My son kept coming home from work to the shower running in the bathroom. He was baffled. He finally busted Desil turning the shower on. Desil is the most work of all our dogs but he also has the most character.

I thought becoming a Mother was the best experience any human could have. I thoroughly enjoyed my children as the grew up. Each new stage was my favorite stage. There were a few during the teen years that were less my favorite than other, but we got through it. As my children grew into adulthood I have come to realize I was wrong. Motherhood is not the greatest blessing Grandmotherhood is. I have to say that this is the single best job I have ever had. It is total bliss. With your children you are so concerned with getting it right that you miss out on so much. You realize once you have grandchildren what is truly important. Love hugs and understanding. It is not so important that the dishes get done at this moment. It is more important that when that little fella wants to sit on Grammys lap he gets to sit on Grammys lap. Matching socks don’t seem to matter in Grammys house. And most certainly Grammy is going to intently listen to any story he reads out of the Three Little Pigs Book. Baking cookies seem to be more fun for Grand kids and the mess never seems to be too much. Finger painting on the patio door with the peanut butter sandwich become cute instead of just something else I have to clean up. Little guy climbing into your bed on an overnighter is no longer an inconvenience it is a wonderful cuddly evening and a little wake up peck on you lips in the morning. you can never sufficiently explain to someone with out children the feeling of becoming a parent, it is ten times better becoming a Grandparent.
